Vacation photos that is.
I recently returned from nine glorious, wonderful, relaxing days in beautiful Costa Rica. If you’ve never been there, you must go. The land is green and lush, and the plants, animals and people are so diverse. The food is fresh and healthy, and the culture is steeped in tradition. I love their approach to life which is captured in a saying you hear frequently, “pura vida” which means pure life.
In between feasting my senses and re-charging my soul, I managed to snap a few photos. I’m happy to share them with you. Enjoy and don’t forget to send me a link to your vacation photos. I’d love to view them.
Oh, it looks so peacful! All of that greenery. And I’m super impressed with the way they folded that afghan on the end of the bed. (Random, I know. But it caught my eye!) I’m so glad you had the chance to get away for a while. Thanks for sharing these gorgeous pics 🙂
My pleasure. My sister and I hit three of the seven provinces in Costa Rica and we’re already planning to hit the other four. We loved it that much. And, trust me…we felt the same way about the artistry of the afghan. Amazing!
Beautiful pictures! Such beauty! The church was beautiful and loved the waterfalls. The leave transcends through the pictures. Thank you for sharing!
Beauty this intense was meant to be shared. So glad you enjoyed the virtual vacation tour. Maybe next time you can go…
So far out vacation has been me having a complete knee replacement. Therapy. However Miss Melody was here and we had a great 13 days with her.
Oh, no! Sorry to hear that Marion. I hope recovery is going smoothly. And so glad to hear Miss Melody spent part of summer vacation with you all. I bet that was fun!
I spent two weeks with my daughter in Costa Rica a few years ago. It’s everything you said it is: lush, green and pura vida. Your photos brought back memories and also added some new ones. Looks like you had a wonderful time.
